Edit configure/RELEASE to set the variable SUPPORT
Edit iocBoot/iocxxx/Makefile to set the variable ARCH
Edit start_epics_xxx to set the variable EPICS_APP
Run changePrefix_synApps_4_6 to change the prefix from xxx to whatever you want
Run gnumake
